Project Scope

Eastman Tourism is a regional Tourism Destination Marketing Organization that promotes tourism for over 20 municipalities of Eastern Manitoba. LM Creative began working with Eastman Tourism in 2016 to provide social media management and blog content for the organization. The goals of the project were:

  • Create and schedule daily social media posts for the organization’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

  • Establish an Instagram account.

  • Organically increase the number of followers/likes, post impressions, and engagement, focusing on reaching the target market.

  • Respond to comments and DMs promptly.

  • Produce two blog articles per week showcasing the region’s visitor attractions in a variety of ways.

Working Together

Working with the Executive Director through social media management and content development contract, LM Creative began exploring opportunities and strategies to achieve Eastman’s desired goals.

From 2016 to 2022, LM Creative and the ED worked together to:

  • Define key content themes for the social media channels and the blog.

  • Create branding elements and templates for the social media imagery.

  • Establish target goals and benchmarks to monitor growth and success.

  • Implement coordinated communication strategies to gather information from the members and communities so we could actively promote the region’s assets.

  • Produce 3 daily posts on Facebook and Twitter and 1 daily post on Instagram.

  • Write two blog posts a week that were published on the Eastman Tourism website.

Highlight of Key Results

With a strategy in place to grow these channels with quality leads, using only organic methods, from 2016 to 2022, Eastman Tourism realized significant growth in their social media and website engagement and reach.
